CoHabits Support
Contact: support@cohabits.app
CoHabits is made by one person. Email is the only support channel, and replies usually take a few days.
Before you write
Including these makes a problem much faster to fix:
- your iPhone or iPad model and iOS version
- the CoHabits version (App Store → CoHabits, or the build number from TestFlight)
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
Known limitations in the current version
These are known and do not need reporting:
- No sync. Household information lives on one device. Two people each have their own separate copy, and nothing passes between them. Invitations and sharing are not built yet.
- No export or backup. There is no way to get your information out of the app, and deleting something is permanent.
- No undo. Deletes take effect immediately, including deleting a whole household.
- Reminders cover tasks only. Events and project tasks do not produce notifications.
Reminders
Turn on Reminders and updates in Settings and CoHabits schedules a notification for each task with a future due date. If iOS has been told to block notifications for CoHabits, the switch says so and offers to open iOS Settings, because only you can change that there.
Reminders are scheduled on the device, so they work offline. They are also best-effort: iOS decides when a local notification is delivered, and it can be delayed. Do not rely on one for anything with a real consequence.
Privacy and your data
Everything you enter stays on your device. The app makes no network connections and sends nothing to us. See the privacy policy and the terms of service.
Because we hold no copy of your information, we cannot recover it for you if a device is lost or the app is deleted.
Reporting something urgent
If you find a security or privacy problem, email support@cohabits.app with "security" in the subject line and please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before sharing it publicly.
